Azure Data Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will be a key development resource on the Information Security Data Operations team, acting as a technical liaison between Data Owners, Enterprise Information Protection, and Security Engineering teams. You will be responsible for analyzing and developing the data ingestion pipeline for a new Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse, ensuring adherence to the internal IT SDLC agile processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies
• Analyze and develop the ingestion pipeline of data sources required for the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse
• Develop data pipelines and implement data lakes
• Ensure data security and compliance
• Function as a development resource and a technical liaison between various data, information protection, and security engineering teams
• Provide routine updates to the project sprint schedule and adhere to internal IT SDLC agile processes

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in data engineering or a related senior-level role
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks
• Relevant Azure certifications

Pay range up to: $89.95 per hour
