Job Description

We are looking for an experienced BI Architect with strong expertise in enterprise reporting, modern cloud data platforms, and Power BI architecture. The ideal candidate should have experience designing scalable BI solutions and working with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and advanced analytics technologies.
 

Must Have Skills

• Strong experience in BI Architecture and Enterprise Reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Experience with the Azure data ecosystem and cloud-native analytics solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling, Data Marts, and Analytical Data Modeling.
• Expertise in SQL optimization, metadata management, and data quality.
• Experience defining enterprise KPIs, scorecards, and executive dashboards.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including:
  • Semantic Models
  • DAX
  • Performance Tuning
  • Governance
  • Security

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise BI and analytics architecture aligned with business data strategy.
• Design scalable reporting solutions and semantic data models for operational and executive reporting.
• Lead Power BI architecture, governance, security, performance optimization, and self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and MDM teams to deliver trusted reporting datasets.
• Establish BI standards, KPI definitions, reusable frameworks, and dashboard development best practices.
• Modernize reporting platforms using Snowflake, Azure, and cloud-native analytics services.
• Support business stakeholders with analytical solutions across underwriting, brokerage, finance, operations, producers, and carriers.
• Mentor BI developers and provide architectural guidance to project teams.
   

Preferred Skills

• Insurance or Brokerage domain experience.
• Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models and advanced analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience implementing Agentic AI / Generative AI solutions using Databricks (Agent Bricks, LLM-based solutions, etc.).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
