Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Azure Devops - Databricks platform Engineer for a Contract with a client in Quincy, MA. The ideal candidate will drive the design, deployment, and governance of Databricks environments while implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions across Azure.

Rate Range: $45/Hour to $48/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Azure Devops - Databricks platform Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Design, deploy, and manage Databricks workspaces across multiple Azure environments while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate deployments of Databricks notebooks, jobs, and platform configurations.

• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Configure and optimize Databricks clusters, networking, and monitoring solutions to improve performance, availability, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to provide technical guidance, establish best practices, and support platform adoption.

• Enforce governance, security, and compliance standards through access controls, audit logging, and resource utilization monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps, with at least 3+ years of Azure cloud experience.

• Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline implementation for cloud-based platforms.

• Experience managing Databricks environments, including infrastructure provisioning, security, governance, and automation.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
