Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Engineer with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing Azure Active Directory solutions to enhance authentication, authorization, and identity governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
  • Hands-on experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Conditional Access Policies
  • Knowledge of SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
  • Experience with Azure AD Connect and hybrid identity environments
  • Familiarity with cloud security and IAM best practices
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
  • Understanding of Zero Trust security model
  • 5–10 years of experience in IT security, system administration, or vulnerability management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Prior work experience in the client's industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Update Manager
  • Experience with Client SCCM / Intune
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Windows Server and Linux Administration
  • Experience with SIEM and Endpoint Security tools
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or SC-900

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Azure AD solutions for authentication, authorization, and identity governance
  • Manage user identities, roles, and access controls (RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access)
  • Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity federation
  • Configure and manage Azure AD Connect for hybrid identity scenarios
  • Monitor and remediate identity-related security vulnerabilities and risks
  • Perform access reviews, auditing, and compliance reporting
  • Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications and third-party services
  • Automate IAM processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting tools
  • Support incident response and troubleshooting related to identity and access issues
  • Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to enforce IAM best practices
