Position Title: Azure ETL Tester
Location: Grand Rapids MI – onsite
Duration: Long Term Contract
 
Job description:
This role requires a seasoned Azure ETL Tester with a strong background in Agile functional testing and data engineering. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive ETL testing using Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, and other related tools. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience in the retail domain, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
 
Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure ETL Testing
• Experience in Agile Functional testing
• Experience in Data Engineering
• Experience in Retail domain

• Experience in Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, Pyspark, Python
• Experience in Database Testing – Teradata, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Oracle
• Experience in Azure Pipeline Testing and Test Data Management
• Able to build different test scenarios and acceptance tests
• Experience in creating and managing test reports
• Experience in sending various status reports including Test Closure, Weekly, and Monthly reports
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and work independently

• Work as part of the QA Product team
• Conduct ETL Testing using Azure tools
• Manage and execute functional testing in an Agile environment
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams for test data management
• Participate in client interviews as needed
