Key Responsibilities
• Solution Architecture & Design
• Architect end-to-end integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, and related Azure services.
• Design robust, scalable, and maintainable Logic Apps workflows, ensuring optimal use of connectors, triggers, and actions to automate business processes.
• Define integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-based, messaging, batch) aligned with enterprise standards and requirements.
• Develop proof of concepts (POCs) and prototypes to validate architectural approaches and drive innovation.
• Document solution architectures, workflows, and integration designs for effective knowledge transfer and maintenance.
Technical Leadership
Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
Communicate architectural decisions, risks, and trade-offs to non-technical audiences and senior leadership.
Facilitate workshops and design sessions to align integration solutions with business objectives.
Governance & Compliance
Establish and enforce best practices for integration security, monitoring, exception handling, and data governance within Logic Apps.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), and cloud governance frameworks.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC), managed identities, and secure secrets management for Logic Apps.
Continuous Improvement
Stay up to date on Azure platform enhancements, new Logic Apps connectors, and integration trends.
Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and practices that drive agility, quality, and automation in integration solutions.
Champion a DevOps culture; enable continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of Logic Apps using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on Azure Logic Apps and integration architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, Functions).
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.
• In-depth knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and message-based architectures.
• Experience with automation, orchestration, and workflow modeling.
• Hands-on proficiency with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform is a plus).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Developer certifications are highly desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Familiarity with other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica) is advantageous.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
• Expertise in error handling, exception management, and retry patterns within Logic Apps.
• Understanding of data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes.
• Ability to lead solution design workshops and provide technical leadership to delivery teams.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and iterative development practices.
• Comfortable with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) for automation purposes.
• Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, public sector) is a plus.
