Job Title: Lead .NET Azure Developer (Contract - Onsite)

Location: Denver, CO or Omaha, NE (Fully Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Rate: $80/hr (W2)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Lead .NET Azure Developer to provide hands-on technical leadership within an Agile Scrum team. This role involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable applications in the Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to solution design, and ensure high standards in security, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of APIs, web applications, and cloud-based solutions on Azure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Support application deployments, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and resiliency (including disaster recovery)
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Assist in defining and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Create and maintain technical documentation; promote knowledge sharing across the team

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Lead .NET Developer in Azure environments
• Strong full-stack development experience
• Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (Angular or React)
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, API Management, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Monitor, Application Insights)
• Experience with Docker, REST APIs, JSON, OIDC, and SAML
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and version control (Git)
• Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools
• Understanding of security best practices (IAM, encryption, code scanning tools like Fortify, Sonatype)
• Exposure to FedRAMP, FISMA, or Zero Trust Architecture is a plus
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
