Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Network Architect with 12+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale hybrid cloud network architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure networking, on-premises network integration, security architecture, and governance/compliance, with strong hands-on experience in architecting secure and scalable hybrid connectivity solutions.
Must Have Skills (Top 3 Required Skills)
- Strong expertise in architecting Hybrid Azure Network Solutions using ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and Azure Firewall
- Hands-on experience implementing secure, segmented cloud networks with enterprise-grade security controls
- Strong background in On-Prem Network Architecture, performance optimization, and compliance/governance strategy
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable hybrid Azure networking solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud.
- Implement and manage connectivity using ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPN, Point-to-Site VPN, and Azure Virtual WAN.
- Configure and optimize Azure Firewall, NSGs, UDRs, Private Endpoints, and network segmentation for secure enterprise environments.
- Lead hands-on deployment and troubleshooting of secure cloud network architectures.
- Optimize network performance, availability, and resiliency across hybrid environments.
- Develop and drive network security compliance and governance strategies aligned with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to support architecture, migration, and modernization initiatives.
- Provide expertise in on-prem routing, switching, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity patterns.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for network monitoring, disaster recovery, and high availability.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Network Architecture / Cloud Networking.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Microsoft Azure Networking Services
- ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall
- Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, NSG, UDR
- Hybrid Connectivity and Network Segmentation
- On-Prem Network Infrastructure (Routing, Switching, Firewalls)
- Experience with network performance tuning, security controls, compliance and governance frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting and architecture design skills in enterprise environments.
