Role: Azure VDI Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, PA – 19104 (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
 
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows 10 & Windows 11 environments.
  • Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation and administration.
  • Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
  • Utilize Nerdio Manager for Enterprise for AVD automation and optimization.
  • Work with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and VM provisioning.
  • Manage user profiles using FSLogix profile containers.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
  • Apply ITIL principles in service delivery and incident management.
  • Manage tickets and workflows in ServiceNow.
  • Support project planning and execution activities.
 
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS administration.
  • Experience with Nerdio, FSLogix, and ARM templates.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to project and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
