B.A. Kennedy 3K Teacher''s Aide

Building Principal

Education/Certification:

1. Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent; preference may be given to candidates with an associate or bachelor''s degree in a related field

2. Must be certified or be willing to become DPI certified with a Special Education Program Aide License 883 (will be reimbursed by the district)

3. Must be highly qualified via CESA 3 tests in core educational areas

4. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

5. Must be able to work well with and assist all children including those with disabilities

6. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

7. Must attend training as assigned (face-to-face and on-line)

8. Must uphold and enforce school rules

9. Must be willing to assist students with physical care

10. Must be willing to assist in crisis intervention

11. Must be willing to assist in supervising the students throughout the school day both within and outside of the school building

12. Must be willing to collaborate with other staff

13. Must maintain confidentiality

14. Must notify of absence in appropriate manner

15. Must be willing to drive a school van

16. Any other duties as assigned
