B-Level Automotive Technician

Pay: $25–$27 per hour, based on experience.
Dillon’s Auto is looking for a dependable, hands-on B-Level Automotive Technician to join our team. We’re looking for someone with a solid mechanical foundation who can handle routine maintenance and common mechanical repairs with limited supervision.
We offer a comfortable work environment, a consistent weekday schedule, and a wide variety of vehicles to work on. With 13 bays/lifts and only 3 technicians, there’s plenty of room to work efficiently without feeling crowded.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform brake, steering, and suspension repairs.
- Complete routine maintenance and vehicle inspections.
- Replace starters, alternators, batteries, belts, hoses, and other common components.
- Perform cooling system and general mechanical repairs.
- Assist with check-engine-light diagnosis and basic troubleshooting.
- Identify needed repairs and document inspection findings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous automotive repair experience.
- Ability to complete common repairs independently.
- Good mechanical aptitude and basic diagnostic skills.
- Dependability, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with a team and take direction when needed.
- Professional hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
What We Offer:
- $25–$27 per hour, based on experience.
- Hourly pay, with the option to discuss commission/flat-rate pay for the right technician.
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- No weekends — we're closed Saturday and Sunday.
- Fully heated and air-conditioned shop, typically kept in the low 70s during the summer.

Paid Holidays:
We provide six paid holidays each year:
- New Year’s Day.
- Memorial Day.

Paid Time Off (PTO):
- After 1 year: 40 hours (1 week).
- After 2 years: 80 hours (2 weeks).
- After 5 years: 120 hours (3 weeks).
