Our client is seeking experienced B1 Maintenance Mechanics to join their team in California. This role offers work on a wide range of aircraft, from general aviation fixed-wing maintenance to rotorcraft maintenance and overhaul. The position also involves heavy structural repairs, modifications, and STC installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft.
Conduct structural repairs, modifications, and STC installations in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft mechanical and structural issues, ensuring all work meets quality and compliance requirements.
Perform overhauls and inspections, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry regulations.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, inspections, and modifications.
Work collaboratively with engineering teams, avionics specialists, and fellow maintenance personnel.
Requirements:
Trained mechanic with minimum 2 years' experience in aviation sector
Ideally has a B1 Licence
Experience in general aviation fixed-wing and/or rotorcraft maintenance is a plus
Knowledge of heavy structural repairs, modifications, and STC installations is a plus
Ability to work in compliance with FAA, EASA, and OEM regulations.
Experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing aircraft mechanical systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
