B1 Maintenance Mechanic - CA - Mar 2025 - 2301
Our client is seeking experienced B1 Maintenance Mechanics to join their team in California. This role offers work on a wide range of aircraft, from general aviation fixed-wing maintenance to rotorcraft maintenance and overhaul. The position also involves heavy structural repairs, modifications, and STC installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft.
- Conduct structural repairs, modifications, and STC installations in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft mechanical and structural issues, ensuring all work meets quality and compliance requirements.
- Perform overhauls and inspections, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, inspections, and modifications.
- Work collaboratively with engineering teams, avionics specialists, and fellow maintenance personnel.
Requirements:
- Trained mechanic with minimum 2 years' experience in aviation sector
- Ideally has a B1 Licence
- Experience in general aviation fixed-wing and/or rotorcraft maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of heavy structural repairs, modifications, and STC installations is a plus
- Ability to work in compliance with FAA, EASA, and OEM regulations.
- Experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing aircraft mechanical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
