We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to add to our BodyLine operations. This role is vital to meeting production goals, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong manufacturing knowledge, a hands-on approach, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
Assign work and prepare shift schedules to optimize labor and material resources.
Supervise, coach, and evaluate employee performance; deliver feedback and support.
Monitor production output for accuracy and adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Ensure proper and safe operation of all machinery; coordinate preventative maintenance as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and lean principles.
Provide training to new employees and ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
Lead by example in enforcing OSHA standards and company safety guidelines.
Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Track production metrics and provide timely reports to management.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (truck or heavy equipment preferred)
Proven leadership and team management skills
Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, tools, and processes
Familiarity with OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Technical Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field
Experience in truck body fabrication or welding operations
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
