B2B Business Development Representative – IT Asset Disposition

Our client is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Representative to drive new B2B business across corporate, government contractor, healthcare, and education sectors. The focus is promoting secure IT asset disposition (ITAD) services aligned with NIST SP 800‑88 and supporting clients through the full lifecycle of pickups, logistics, data destruction, and reporting. Ideal for a motivated seller with experience in IT, recycling, logistics, or MSP environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a CRM‑driven pipeline (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
• Coordinate with operations on pickups, logistics, data destruction, and reporting.
• Generate leads through outbound calls, emails, site visits, networking, and events.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations to position services and close contracts.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships and support renewals and multi‑site contracts.
• Develop new B2B clients across corporate, government, healthcare, and education sectors.
• Promote secure ITAD services aligned with NIST SP 800‑88 and chain‑of‑custody requirements.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• All education levels considered.
• Strong outbound prospecting and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel for client visits and site assessments.
• 3+ years of B2B business development or sales experience.
• Ability to manage a CRM pipeline and close service contracts.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to operate independently.
• Background in IT, ITAD, electronics recycling, logistics, MSP/VAR, or related industries.

Preferred Skills:

• Existing IT, MSP, VAR, or government‑contractor relationships.
• Familiarity with secure data destruction standards (NIST SP 800‑88)
• Experience selling compliance‑driven or regulated‑industry services.
