We are currently seeking a B2B Collections & Credit Specialist for an established national distributor that supports emergency restoration professionals, government agencies, and insurance organizations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented collections professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys collaborating with both finance and sales teams.

Position Summary
The B2B Collections & Credit Specialist will be responsible for managing a large commercial accounts receivable portfolio while balancing collections, credit analysis, payment processing, and customer service. This role plays a critical part in protecting the company's cash flow while supporting customers and internal sales teams with timely credit decisions and order releases.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 1,000 commercial customer accounts.
  • Perform business-to-business collections through high-volume outbound and inbound calls.
  • Process customer payments via credit card and ACH.
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness using Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) reports and payment history.
  • Make sound credit decisions and release customer orders based on established credit guidelines.
  • Investigate and resolve customer billing disputes and account discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Sales to support customer needs while protecting company assets.
  • Maintain collection goals, including reducing portfolio delinquency to targeted levels.
  • Accurately document customer communications and account activity within the ERP system.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, internal departments, and management.
Required qualifications for the position include:
  • 2+ years of B2B Collections and Credit experience required.
  • Experience evaluating commercial credit using Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) reports.
  • Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of customer calls.
  • Experience processing electronic payments, including ACH and credit card transactions.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and accounting principles.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
  • Experience with Solar ERP or BuildTrust is a plus.
  • Background supporting manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, restoration, or construction-related industries is preferred.
Pay Rate Range: $24.00 - $28.84 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
