About the Position

We are seeking a B2B Sales Consultant to develop new business relationships with small and medium-sized businesses within an assigned territory.

This is a field-based sales position that involves prospecting, networking, conducting face-to-face meetings, presenting supplemental insurance benefits, developing new accounts, and building long-term business relationships.

The ideal candidate is proactive, competitive, coachable, and comfortable generating new business through in-person prospecting and networking.

What You'll Sell

You will educate business owners and employees about supplemental insurance benefits designed to provide additional financial protection.

Compensation

Commission-based compensation with monthly bonuses. Typical first-year earnings for successful producers are approximately 65,000-80,000, depending on individual sales performance.

Daily Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and establish a consistent sales pipeline
• Schedule and conduct meetings with business owners and employees
• Present supplemental insurance products and explain available benefits
• Develop new accounts and expand territory market presence
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Negotiate and close sales
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity
• Track opportunities and work toward established production goals
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable meeting clients face-to-face
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to manage time effectively and travel within an assigned territory
• Willingness to prospect and generate new business
• Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales or customer service experience
• B2B sales experience
• Experience working in a competitive, performance-driven environment
• Experience using CRM systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in networking, business development, or outside sales

Sales or insurance experience is helpful but not required. Training and ongoing support are provided.
