Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - Order Management and Inventory Allocation in Austin, TX.

Overview: We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a large-scale technology transformation initiative focused on Order Management and Inventory Allocation. This role will play a key part in discovery, process analysis, and requirements definition across ERP and connected systems.

This is a highly collaborative position working across business and technical teams to evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape future-state solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities: Discovery & Process Analysis:

  • Lead discovery sessions focused on order management and inventory workflows
  • Document current-state (As-Is) processes using detailed process maps (swimlanes, value streams, etc.)
  • Identify inefficiencies, system gaps, and integration challenges
  • Partner with stakeholders to define pain points and improvement opportunities

Requirements Gathering & Documentation:

  • Facilitate workshops to gather and validate business and functional requirements

Create clear, structured artifacts such as:

  • Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • User stories and acceptance criteria
  • Process flows and use cases
  • Ensure requirements reflect end-to-end business processes and data flows
  • Support backlog development and prioritization

Business Value & Analysis:

  • Develop Business Value Assessments (BVAs) to quantify expected benefits, costs, and risks
  • Translate business needs into measurable outcomes aligned with transformation goals

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
  • Work across functions including supply chain, demand planning, sales, and operations
  • Help ensure alignment across ERP and related systems

Future-State Design:

  • Support development of future-state (To-Be) processes
