POSITION OVERVIEW
The Baan Solution Architect will lead the technical and functional architecture required to create a new Baan 5 company environment and oversee complex data migration activities. Collaborating closely with cross-functional sales pursuit, delivery, and Informatica data teams, this role is critical in driving solution alignment, validated system functionality, and seamless execution through SIT, UAT, cutover, and warranty phases.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the creation, functional configuration, and technical setup of a new Baan 5 company environment.
- Architect and execute data migration strategies in close collaboration with the supporting Informatica ETL team.
- Perform Exchange Scheme imports and validate data loading integrity across system modules.
- Conduct end-to-end technical and functional testing, directly supporting SIT, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live warranty.
- Engage with cross-functional delivery teams and business stakeholders to translate technical requirements into scalable solution designs.
- Provide expert advisory, solution governance, and continuous improvement guidance across multi-team integration patterns.
