Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, hands-on childcare in a safe and nurturing environment
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and educational play
• Prepare light meals and snacks while adhering to any dietary needs or restrictions
• Assist with homework, reading, and other developmental activities
• Maintain a clean and organized environment during care hours
• Follow family routines including nap times, bedtime schedules, and daily activities
• Communicate openly and professionally with parents regarding the child's day and any concerns

Requirements:

• Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, or a related caregiving role preferred
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with children
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with strong references
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow family guidelines and instructions
• Must be located in or able to commute to Long Island, NY
