Job Summary We are seeking a Backend Developer to build scalable software and data platforms supporting engineering and technical teams. The role focuses on developing cloud applications, APIs, microservices, and enterprise software solutions.
Job Title: Back End Developer Location: Houston, TX
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services.
Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
Develop scalable cloud-native applications.
Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
Own features throughout the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance.
Implement secure coding practices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Collaborate with Agile development teams.
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Required Technical Skills
Programming Languages: Java, C#, Python, TypeScript, and C++ (team dependent).
Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Relevant hands-on experience in backend software development, including designing and developing APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications, and enterprise software.
