Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $50 - $56/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Required Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in developing REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda
• Expertise in AWS Cloud Computing
• Database development and integration using:
  • Amazon Aurora
  • Amazon DynamoDB
• Hands-on experience with Liquibase for database versioning, schema management, and migrations
• Experience with PySpark
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and cloud-native application development

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda in a serverless environment.
• Build and integrate applications with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Manage database schema changes, migrations, and version control using Liquibase.
• Develop, test, and deploy cloud-native solutions following AWS architecture, security, and coding best practices.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting mechanisms for APIs and database operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and support deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application and database performance, resolve production issues, and provide release support.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and documentation activities.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables while adhering to enterprise standards and compliance requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python and AWS.
• Proven experience building serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Strong database knowledge with Aurora, DynamoDB, and Liquibase.
• Experience working in BFSI or other highly regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor development teams.
