The Opportunity

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Back-End Maintenance Developer for an active RFP opportunity: Region 4 ESC RFP R42026-05 - Application Maintenance, DevOps, and Program Support Services for The Texas Education Exchange.

Region 4 ESC is seeking application maintenance, DevOps, QA, program support, and dedicated support team services for The Texas Education Exchange.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance backend services, APIs, integrations, data flows, bug fixes, and application reliability for the Texas Education Exchange platform.
• Review the RFP scope, source posting, supporting documents, deadline, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with FuntoNetwork and related consultants to support a complete, professional response.
• Prepare documentation, analysis, recommendations, deliverables, or technical inputs related to this role.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
• Support quality control, status updates, and final submission readiness.
• Define the solution architecture: Specify components, interfaces, data flows, deployment boundaries, security controls, and technology decisions for Region 4 ESC RFP R42026-05 - Application Maintenance, DevOps, and Program Support Services for The Texas Education Exchange .
• Design application and API contracts: Document schemas, validation rules, authentication, authorization, errors, versioning, and integration behavior.
• Implement assigned components: Build maintainable application, service, integration, or automation code aligned to approved standards.
• Create automated verification: Add unit, integration, contract, security, and regression tests with repeatable test data and expected results.
• Prepare deployment and rollback: Document configuration, secrets, migrations, pipelines, release steps, health checks, and recovery actions.
• Complete technical handover: Deliver code review evidence, architecture records, API documentation, operational runbooks, and known limitations to Region 4 Education Service Center.

What You Bring

• Relevant experience for this RFP-based role.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work against proposal deadlines and client requirements.
• Experience supporting public-sector, enterprise, or consulting projects is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured submission requirements.

Earnings, Payments, and Tax Records

Consultants will be able to track project earnings, payment status, and tax records inside the FuntoNetwork mobile app.

Approved payments for this RFP opportunity will be processed through the app, and consultants will be able to request withdrawals from their available balance directly inside the app.

The app will also provide access to relevant payment history and tax-related records for consultant tracking and reporting.
