About the Role:<\/span>

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with deep expertise in n8n to design, build, and maintain scalable workflow automations and intelligent chatbot systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of backend engineering, automation, and AI-driven solutions.<\/span>

You will be responsible for developing robust backend services, integrating APIs, and creating advanced automation pipelines that power conversational bots, internal tools, and client-facing systems. Key Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/div>
Design, develop, and maintain complex n8n workflows and automation pipelines<\/span>
<\/div>
Build and manage scalable backend services using <\/span><\/span>Node.js\/JavaScript<\/a>
<\/div>
Develop and optimize AI-powered chatbots and conversational automation systems<\/span>
<\/div>
Integrate and connect third-party platforms (CRMs, messaging apps, databases, SaaS tools)<\/span>
<\/div>
Implement and manage API integrations (REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth authentication)<\/span>
<\/div>
Create automation solutions using n8n, Zapier, and other integration tools<\/span>
<\/div>
Work with WordPress environments, including API integrations and automation workflows<\/span>
<\/div>
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing automation systems for performance and scalability<\/span>
<\/div>
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver reliable backend solutions<\/span>
<\/div>
Ensure high availability, security, and performance of backend systems<\/span>
<\/div><\/span>
Requirements<\/h3> Required Qualifications<\/span>
<\/div> Strong hands-on experience with n8n workflow automation (advanced node usage, custom nodes, complex integrations)<\/span>
<\/div> Solid backend development experience with <\/span><\/span>Node.js<\/a> <\/span>and JavaScript<\/span>
<\/div> Proven experience building or integrating chatbots or conversational AI systems<\/span>
<\/div> Strong understanding of API design and integrations (REST, webhooks, OAuth)<\/span>
<\/div> Experience with Zapier or similar automation platforms<\/span>
<\/div> Experience working with WordPress, including backend integrations and automation<\/span>
<\/div> Familiarity with databases (SQL\/NoSQL) and scalable backend architectures<\/span>
<\/div> Experience with cloud platforms and deployment environments<\/span>
<\/div> Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently<\/span>
<\/div> Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team<\/span>
<\/div> Availability to work during US standard business hours (Monday-Friday)<\/span>
<\/div>
<\/div> Nice to Have<\/span>
<\/div> Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar<\/span>
<\/div> Familiarity with messaging platforms like Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, or Telegram<\/span>
<\/div> DevOps experience (CI\/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud infrastructure)<\/span>
<\/div> Experience building custom automation nodes or plugins<\/span>
