A growing technology company is seeking a Backend Developer to join its engineering team building modern SaaS platforms and backend systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, and experienced with Python and AWS cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Develop scalable backend architecture and cloud-based systems
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams on new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
- Deploy and manage services using AWS tools including Lambda, ECS, and S3
- Monitor and improve system performance and reliability
Qualifications
- 3+ years of backend development experience with Python
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Git workflows
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
- Experience with Docker and Terraform
- Familiarity with SaaS or enterprise-level applications
- Understanding of backend security and authentication systems
