Backend Developer
LOCATIONS BY PREFERENCE:
1. Most Preferred Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 / Birmingham, AL, 35233.
2. Second Preferred Cleveland, OH, 44136 / Dallas, TX, 75234 / Phoenix, AZ, 85016.
Pay Rate: $60 to 75/hr. on W2 ONLY
WORK ARRANGEMENT: 5 days onsite
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: 8 Months Contract to Hire role
FUNCTION OF THE GROUP: OBC (Online Banking Categorization) team backend API development. INITIATIVES/PROJECTS: Supporting Retail Online Banking Categorization.
INDUSTRY BACKGROUND: Banking strongly preferred
ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
A mix of new development and long term support of services.
Attend stand ups, give updates.
Development work tickets.
Team code reviews.
Peer code reviews.
Backend Java development.
Reviewing third party API docs.
Refining development stories.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:Level 4 8-10 years experience:
1. Backend skills,
2. Java,
3. Oracle,
4. Rest APIs,
5. SQL
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
INTERVIEW PROCESS: First round with HM and possibly peers. Potential second round, technical interview.
