Job Description:
Our Livingston, NJ Fintech client is seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer with 7+ years of experience to join their team as a long-term contractor. The role is focused around building scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Oracle PL/SQL, with a proven ability to design, develop, and support enterprise-level applications. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend services, APIs, and database solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
7+ years of backend-focused Java development
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
Strong AWS experience, including cloud-based application development and deployment
Strong Oracle PL/SQL experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and database development
Experience with enterprise application development and integration
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment
Hybrid schedule: onsite 3 days per week
Final interview will be conducted in person
