Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 10 ORs

· Cost Center: 70128

· Length of contract: 13 weeks

· Shift: One RN 0645-1915, One RN 6:45 -15 (Tues – Wed – Fri) 3 / 12 hour shifts or 4 / 10 hours shifts

· Patient Ratios : OR 1:1

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Coordinator, RNs, ORTs, Anesthesia Techs, Orderlies

· Type of equipment : Surgery

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: Available for some call and weekends.

· Floating policy: Ability to work at either campus as needed

· On Call Expectations: Call

· Weekend Requirement: Call

· Patient Experience requirements: Minimum 2 yrs experience in tertiary facility

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have : BLS, CST Certification

Advanced skills needed: Trauma, Ortho, Spine, total joints needed.

Procedures performed on unit: All procedures except transplants.

Certifications Required: None other than those stated above.
