    Description

    The Backoffice Processor will report to Global Order Processing & Master Scheduling Management and play an integral role in the successful execution of our Supply Chain Operations. The primary responsibility will be to manage factory sales orders that make up complex, engineered-to-order projects to the manufacturing plant. The Backoffice processor will work with multiple departments to drive results to achieve our committed customer required on site dates. These departments include, but are not limited to Engineering, Project Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Master Scheduling, Logistics and Customer Service.

    The ideal candidate will be extremely organized with an eye for detail and have a solid understanding of supply chain management and internal procurement for engineered-to-order systems.

      The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $71,625 - $100,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

      Tasks and Qualifications:

      What You Will do in This Role:

      • Support the Global Order Management (GOM) process meetings to review service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, supply plan to meet demand, and resource implications.

      • Act as a key bridge between the Project Management teams and our factories to ensure alignment on all orders assigned to the plant.

      • Provide input to the Business Analytics team to improve reporting and analysis capability.

      • Monitor, maintain and ensure data quality within ERP (SAP) system as it relates to factory sales order requirements.

      • Monitor IDOC errors found at time of factory Sales order creation, help to identify root causes, and facilitate actions to correct.

      • Problem solve and provide expertise into the continuous improvement of planning and production processes and procedures.

      • Ensure creation, modification and deletion of all factory sales orders.  In addition, continuous monitoring of IDoc errors that arise between the Factory Purchase order and Factory Sales order.

      • Investigation and root cause analysis of IDoc errors.

      • Maintain relevant master data objects.

      • Exercise high degree of independent decision making regarding organizing and performing work to meet customer requirements.

      What We Are Looking For:

      • Strong grasp of supply chain and manufacturing processes

      • Strong understanding of the global order fulfillment of complex, engineered-to-order systems, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment in a growing global industry.

      • Outstanding collaboration skills to resolve multifaceted problems.

      • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business or Operations Management or 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing / Supply Chain environment.

      • Experience using an ERP/MRP (SAP 4HANA highly preferred) and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

      • Knowledge and experience applying lean thinking and Continuous Improvement (CI) principles to increase efficiency across business processes.
