Job Duties

• You will start up and turn on the machine as the shift starts and you will prepare the machine to be shut down at the end of the shift.
• You will help to load and unload all tools onto your machine which may include cardboard boxes, plastic bags or other items that the machine may need.
• You will ensure that the machine is accurately filling products into boxes or bags controlling and monitoring entire plant product flow and product quality.
• Making sure the baggers and pack lines have been fed efficiently.
• You will do some troubleshooting of the machine when needed.
• You will need to use the right amount of product while filling bags and boxes to the right weights and sizes.
• Receive instructions from managers and execute the plan communicate via radio to adjust production as needed.
• Operate computer on the mezzanine while observing the flow and adjusting as necessary, make changes and communicate any quality issue to supervisor and manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned
