Position Title: ElectricianLocation: Bailey MinePosition SummaryThis position is responsible for the maintenance of underground machinery and equipment, and the maintenance of equipment and facilities so that high availability rates are maintained while meeting safety standards.

Target Responsibilities

Must adhere to CORE Natural Resources first principles including Safety, Sustainability, and Continuous Improvement.Ensure the company's "Absolute ZERO" safety culture is embedded in all work performedMust safely, effectively, and efficiently work and respond to changing conditions within the mineExperienced in the maintenance of underground equipment and machinery to support longwall operation.Must ensure that body mechanics, equipment, and tools are utilized in a safe and responsible mannerResponsible for the safe and efficient production of coal and/or assistance in the production of coal in general work areasRequires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligationsMust comply with company policies, federal and state laws, and regulatory standards

Minimum Requirements

Requires PA Black Hat or equivalent certificationMust have MSHA Federal Electrical Card or equivalent certification

Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requiresMust be able to work as scheduled and arrive to the worksite promptly to receive work assignment and prepare for the start of the shiftMust be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independentlyThis position is defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles as a heavy job category and must be able to lift, carry, pull/push, climb, shovel, walk, pry, work on/near moving equipment and perform any job specific activity as required by job assignmentMust be able to work on/near moving equipment as required by jobMust be able to understand and grasp mining concepts and safety strategies
