$25.00 - $28.00 / Hour

The receiving coordinator, reporting to the Materials Manager is responsible for processing incoming shipments both domestically and internationally, as well as incoming products in agreement with company procedures.

Here's more of what you'll get to do:

• Handle incoming parcels as the arrival (FedEx, UPS or Freight).
• Verify and keep records of incoming shipments.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and contact shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of landing, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Perform daily cycle counts; research, analyze, and reconcile inventory inaccuracies.
• On a routine basis recommend the evaluation or disposal of expired, slow moving and discontinued goods.
• Continue to focus on and sustain the 5S program.
• Complete any additional tasks that are assigned per business needs.

What we require:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience in material handling is preferred.
• Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma/GED.
