The Bake Assistant supports the Baker in daily production by preparing ingredients, assisting with baking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This role is essential to delivering fresh, high-quality cakes while upholding food safety and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with prepping ingredients and batter according to recipes and standards
- Support the baking process, including pan preparation, baking, cooling, and storage
- Ensure accurate measurements and consistent product quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas
- Wash and sanitize dishes, tools, and equipment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
- Assist with inventory organization and restocking supplies
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Willingness to learn and follow processes closely
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Previous baking or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required
