Join our vibrant team at our newly opening coffee shop, where we pride ourselves on creating an inviting atmosphere, serving meticulously crafted coffee, and offering a selection of exceptional baked goods. We're searching for a passionate and skilled Baker to enhance our culinary offerings. If you have a flair for baking, a keen eye for detail, and a love for food, we invite you to apply and help us bring joy to our community through your delightful creations. While currently a part-time opening, there is potential for this to move to full-time in the future. 

Key Responsibilities

• Masterful Execution of Baking Artistry: Immerse yourself in our recipes, bringing them to life with precision and care. You'll manage preparation lists, ensure the right supplies are at hand, and execute baking processes to produce outstanding baked goods and pastries. Efficiency, timeliness, and adherence to our high standards are your guiding principles.
• Quality and Presentation Champion: Be vigilant about the presentation and quality of each item. This includes preparing pans, proofing, scoring, baking, and applying finishing touches that make our products not just delicious but visually appealing.
• Product Care and Compliance: You'll be responsible for the meticulous labeling, dating, and storage of products, ensuring everything served is fresh and meets health and safety standards. Organizing inventory with FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and maintaining a pristine, health code-compliant workspace will be key.
• Maintenance and Cleanliness: Embrace the responsibility of keeping equipment and the facility clean and organized. A clean workspace is a happy workspace and crucial for our operation's success.
• Team Collaboration and Flexibility: While you'll have a clear set of duties, we value flexibility and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed. Your role is pivotal in our collective effort to delight every customer.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of baking experience, whether from personal projects, hotels, or restaurants, is preferred. We value both formal and informal paths to becoming a skilled baker.
• Skills: A solid understanding of baking techniques, procedures, and safe knife handling. Precision, speed, and an unwavering attention to detail are qualities we cherish.
• Passion for Baking: A genuine love for baking and a desire to constantly learn and grow in your craft.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with the team, showing punctuality and reliability, especially during weekend shifts.
