Baker - Early Morning
Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Baker to join our Bakery team. This role is responsible for preparing fresh breads, pastries, muffins, and other baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and is committed to delivering fresh, high-quality products each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, muffins, and other bakery products according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Follow daily production schedules to ensure products are fresh and available for customers.
- Monitor product quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Organize, stock, rotate, clean, and maintain freezer inventory to ensure product quality and efficient operations.
- Assist with stocking, rotating, and replenishing bakery products and supplies.
- Work efficiently while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide friendly customer service and assist customers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous baking or bakery experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be available to work early morning shifts (starting at 4:00 or 5:00 a.m.), weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment, including freezer for extended periods.
