About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to join our team as a Wood-Fired Oven Operator. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position working with our traditional wood-fired oven to produce high-quality bagels throughout the day.
You’ll be part of the early morning/mid morning crew and play a key role in keeping our bake consistent, efficient, and up to our standards.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with opening and preparing the oven and baking area
- Help build and maintain the wood-fired oven
- Load and unload bagels to maintain a steady, continuous bake
- Work closely with the baking team to keep production flowing
- Monitor bagel quality and remove anything that doesn’t meet standards
- Keep your station clean, organized, and food-safe
- Support daily production and catering needs
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional way
What We’re Looking For

- Ability to take direction and stay on task
- Baking or kitchen experience preferred (but we will train the right person)
Hours & Schedule
- Part-time: approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Weekday shifts may start as early as 3:30 AM – 9:30ish AM
- Weekend shifts may be approximately 7:00 AM – 12:30ish PM (give or take)
- Weekend availability is required
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to go up and down stairs frequently
- Able to be in front of a 500 degree oven and boiler

- Fast-paced environment (we handle high volume daily)
