DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment
  

• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
  

• Keeping records related to inventory, deliveries, production levels and deadlines
  

• Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring equipment is sanitized and prepared for following shift
  

• Adhere to recipes and ensure smooth and safe operations
  

• Help maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen
  

• Ensure complete compliance with all food, safety and physical standards and policies
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in the culinary field.
  

• Experience in high-volume, quality-oriented catering, restaurant or banquets experience is preferred
  

• Excellent volume cooking and presentation skills
  

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and good listening skills
  

• Thoroughness, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
  

• Ability to work and communicate with a variety of people of different skill levels and varied backgrounds
  

• Ability to effectively handle many tasks at once in a fast-paced work environment
  

• Good decision-making and ability to proactively make changes as needed
  

• Adhere to required cleaning and sanitation standards
  

• Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends.
  

• Food Handler Certification, required
  

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  

• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
