Commissary Production & Delivery Associate - Part-Time

Pay:$16.00–$18.00 per hour
Compensation is based on experience.

This position plays a critical role in preparing high-quality food products and ensuring they are safely delivered to our coffee house locations.

What You'll Do

As a Commissary Production & Delivery Associate, you will:

• Prepare, assemble, package, and label food products according to company standards.

• Follow established production procedures, recipes, and quality guidelines.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with ServSafe and company food safety standards.

• Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality and consistency.

• Stock, organize, and rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Assist with training team members on production processes and best practices.

• Load, transport, and deliver food products and supplies to New Mexico Piñon Coffee House locations using a company delivery van.

• Unload deliveries and communicate professionally with café teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

• Support other commissary operations and projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Reliable transportation and proof of personal auto insurance.

• Comfortable driving a company delivery van throughout the Albuquerque metro area.

• Commercial food production experience preferred (1+ year).

• Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire).

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, recipes, and production procedures.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

• Strong math skills for recipe measurements and inventory management.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring frequent:

• Standing and walking for an entire shift.

• Bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

• Working in a commercial kitchen environment with varying temperatures, noise, and food production equipment.
