Job Description
We are seeking Bakery Associates to join our dynamic team in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. This entry-level position requires candidates to have prior experience in production or similar settings, offering a great opportunity for growth and development in the bakery industry.
Responsibilities
Assist in the production of baked goods, including packaging, labeling, and staging finished products.
Follow recipes, batch instructions, and production schedules to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and packaging lines.
Perform quality checks on products to ensure proper weight, labeling, and appearance.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
Load ingredients, materials, and packaging supplies onto production lines as needed.
Follow all safety, GMP, and company procedures at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Essential Skills
6 months to 1 year of experience in production, food manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environments.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume production or bakery settings.
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness practices.
Ability to accurately follow instructions, SOPs, and recipes.
Reliable with strong attendance and a team-oriented mindset.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in bakery, food production, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Experience working around or operating basic production equipment is a plus.
Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, or other food safety regulations is strongly preferred.
Ability to work early morning shifts, overtime, and flexible schedules as needed.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality and consistency.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced production setting.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance history.

Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced, high-volume bakery production setting. Work is performed on a production floor with continuous machine and line activity, and exposure to varying temperatures, including warm areas near ovens and cooler storage areas. Employees must be comfortable with constant standing, walking, and repetitive movement throughout the shift. The environment is team-oriented with a strong focus on safety, quality, and production goals, requiring strict adherence to sanitation and GMP requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
