Build customer confidence and loyalty by providing prompt and exceptional customer service while following consistent operating conditions in a friendly atmosphere.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.Fill and take special orders from customersOperate scales, and other bakery equipment.Receives, stores, stocks, maintains, and rotates bakery products and displaysConfirms pricing accuracy, country of origin, and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad itemsMaintains high standards of sanitation and freshnessAssists in other duties as assigned.Follow established departmental and store policies and proceduresAssists as needed to ensure the success of the store.QUALIFICATIONSAt least 18 years of age.Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.Ability to read, write, and do simple math.Ability to follow instructions.Ability to work well with others and work well as a teamContinually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, consistent and forward focusedAbility to work weekends, evenings, and holidaysA passion for serving othersPrior experience is preferredBilingual abilities are a plusPHYSICAL DEMANDSBakery Associates perform their duties primarily in the department.
