Bakery Associate

Start your new career as a Bakery Associate with MAU in Newnan, GA. As a Bakery Associate, you will prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods from scratch while maintaining quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous baking experience preferred but not required; training is available for the right candidate
• Ability to accurately and consistently follow recipes
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a small team environment
• Passion for baking and producing high-quality products
• Reliability and flexibility, including availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods of 8+ hours per shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a warm, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Arm strength and endurance to knead and mix dough by hand when needed
• Willingness to perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes

What You'll Do as a Bakery Associate:

• Prepare and bake bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and daily menu needs
• Measure, mix, and knead dough by hand or with mixers and other baking equipment
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent, high-quality products
• Maintain a clean and organized baking area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing ingredients
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and reporting shortages
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate preparation and support smooth operations
• Occasionally assist customers and answer questions about baked goods as needed
