Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Bakery Decorator to join our team at Nadler's bakery & deli. As a Bakery Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods that will delight our customers. You will work closely with our bakers and deli staff to ensure that our products are consistently of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

- Decorate cakes, cookies, pastries, and other baked goods according to customer requests and company standards

- Use various techniques and tools such as piping bags, stencils, and molds to create designs and decorations

- Prepare and apply icings, glazes, and toppings to baked goods

- Ensure that all products are decorated in a timely manner and meet customer expectations

- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with the bakery team to develop new and unique designs for seasonal and special occasion products

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Bakery Decorator or similar role

- Strong artistic and creative skills

- Knowledge of various decorating techniques and tools

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Excellent attention to detail

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
