About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, people-focused Bakery Manager to lead our bakery team and create an exceptional experience for both our guests and team members.

As the Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the bakery, including team leadership, guest experience, product quality, food safety, cleanliness, labor management, sales growth, and team development. You will set the standard for excellence and create a positive, accountable, and fun bakery culture.

What Youll Do

Lead & Develop the Team

• Lead, coach, and develop bakery team members to reach their full potential.
• Create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
• Conduct effective pre-shift huddles and communicate daily priorities.
• Ensure team members are properly trained and follow Nothing Bundt Cakes standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching and recognition to build a strong team.
• Hold team members accountable to performance and operational expectations.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and developing new team members.

Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience

• Create a warm, welcoming environment for every guest.
• Ensure guests are greeted, thanked, and provided excellent service.
• Monitor OSAT and guest feedback and create action plans to improve results.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Drive Bundtastic Rewards enrollment and encourage guest engagement.

Maintain Product Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure all products consistently meet Nothing Bundt Cakes quality standards.
• Maintain proper frosting, decorating, baking, packaging, and presentation standards.
• Ensure proper ROX labeling, FIFO practices, and product rotation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bakery at all times.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Complete required food safety, operational, and cleanliness checks.

Manage Labor & Bakery Performance

• Proactively manage labor based on sales, business trends, and bakery needs.
• Monitor sales and labor throughout the day and make adjustments as needed.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and drive revenue.
• Build relationships within the community and identify outside sales and event opportunities.
• Ensure bakery goals and company initiatives are communicated and executed effectively.

Own the Bakery

• Ensure the bakery is properly staffed and operational each day.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness, organization, and readiness.
• Ensure company systems, processes, and required tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate operational needs, challenges, and successes with the District Manager.
• Lead by example and create a bakery environment that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.

What Were Looking For

• Previous leadership or management experience in retail, food service, hospitality, or a similar environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong commitment to guest service and product quality.
• Ability to understand and manage labor and sales performance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Food safety certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
