Dead End Bakehouse is looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Baker to handle our overnight production and make sure the case is fully stocked and ready before doors open.
What you'll do
- Mix, proof, and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to our recipes and standards
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings ahead of the morning rush
- Monitor ovens, timers, and baking conditions to keep quality consistent
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and health‑code compliant throughout the shift
- Label, date, and rotate product to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Communicate with the morning team about inventory, special orders, and low stock items
What we're looking for
- Previous baking or pastry experience preferred (commercial or high‑volume is a plus)
- Comfortable working overnight, on your feet, in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in consistent, great‑looking product
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive tasks
- Reliable, on time, and able to work with minimal supervision
