Balloon Handler (Volcano Bay Internal Transfer Opportunity)

JOB SUMMARY: Serves as parade assistant for Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s handling balloons, crowd control, lock-down, parade escort and clean-up.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handles large balloons before, during and after the parade.
• Walks alongside parade floats and communicates with float driver to ensure the safety of Guests and Team Members during the parade.
• Assists in cleaning the parade route after parade.
• Assists with lock-down and crowd control before and during parade.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Team Members must be a minimum of 125lbs and able to handle up to 50lbs or balloon.
