The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns - both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members - with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.
Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.
Position Summary:
The DCCC is hiring a Voter Protection Ballot Cure Associate to assist with cure programs for the 2026 election cycle. This individual will report to the Deputy Voter Protection Director who is responsible for building and executing a ballot cure program that reaches across the congressional battlefield. The Ballot Cure Associate will help ensure the DCCC's ballot cure program is able to adapt quickly as needed, while supporting the volunteer experience. Ideal candidates for this position will have a passion for volunteer management and the creation of tracking systems.
This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
Responsibilities:
Requirements
Although 1+ cycle of working in Voter Protection or relevant volunteer ballot cure experience is a plus, candidates wishing to learn more about Voter Protection and ballot cure are encouraged to apply
Prior experience managing or working with volunteers is a plus, but at a minimum must have a demonstrated interest in gaining volunteer management experience as well as experience in administering remote volunteer infrastructure at scale
Experience with making calls via OpenVPBs, Slack, participating in textbanks, or volunteering on campaigns is a plus
Preferred experiences at either the intern- or volunteer-level:
Experience with political or advocacy campaigns
Experience with applying voting laws
Experience with volunteers
Ability to run complex projects and administer the necessary systems and processes to execute them
Ability to adapt to and apply different legal and procedural frameworks impacting cure programs across multiple states
