We are seeking a Senior SAP Functional Analyst / Lead specializing in SAP Production Planning (PP) to support enterprise SAP initiatives in a complex manufacturing environment. This role focuses on the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and system integrators to deliver scalable SAP solutions and improve production planning processes.
Lead workshops and facilitate business process discussions to define SAP solutions.
Collaborate with business SMEs, architects, developers, and system integrators to enhance current systems and processes.
Configure SAP Production Planning solutions to meet business requirements.
Recommend and implement SAP best practices aligned with Clean Core guidelines.
Develop and maintain documentation including:
Business Process Documents (BPDs)
Process Flows
Configuration Design Documents (CDD)
Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
Key Decision Documents (KDD)
WRICEF objects
Translate functional requirements into technical design documents.
Coordinate development activities with technical teams.
Develop test strategies, test plans, and test scripts.
Perform unit testing and integration testing for new functionality and enhancements.
Support testing cycles and lead root cause analysis and resolution of issues.
Utilize tools such as SAP Solution Manager and Signavio.
Apply SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) practices for project delivery.
Work with SAP S/4HANA and FIORI applications.
12+ years of SAP Production Planning (PP) consulting experience
4+ years of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning experience
Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP and QM modules
Experience completing at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations
Experience supporting SAP PP in large, complex enterprise environments
Experience with SAP interfaces
Experience with user exits, batch jobs, and standard SAP reporting
Advanced SAP PP experience including:
Material Master
MRP Types and Lot Sizing
Bills of Material (BOM)
Routing
Capacity Planning and Leveling
Production Orders
Demand Management and Forecasting
Planning Strategies
Stock Requirements Planning
Backflush processing
Range of Coverage
Experience with FIORI applications
Experience with PPDS and DDMRP in S/4HANA
Experience with Sales (SD), Procurement (MM), Warehouse (EWM), Finance/Costing (FICO), and Quality (QM) integrations
Experience with Engineering Change Management (ECM) and Order Change Management (OCM)
Experience with IBP or other planning tools
Experience supporting discrete or repetitive manufacturing environments
Experience in Aerospace or Defense industries
SAP certifications (PP, QM, MM) are a plus
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience. Advanced degrees or SAP certifications are a plus.
Hybrid schedule (2–3 days onsite in Berkeley, MO)
Must meet U.S. export compliance requirements
Successful completion of onboarding training may be required
Regular and reliable attendance required
Occasional domestic travel may be required to support projects at other U.S. locations.
