Description for Band Saw Cutter:
Operate industrial production band saws to cut specialized materials to customer specifications.
Utilize a forklift to transport, maneuver, and load raw materials safely onto the saw feed table.
Measure materials masterfully to ensure absolute dimensional accuracy down to fractions.
Adhere strictly to all company procedures regarding classified and confidential contract materials.
Maintain intense focus throughout production runs, protecting high-value assets worth thousands of dollars.
Keep work bays organized, check tool wear parameters, and follow strict facility safety regulations.
Details for Band Saw Cutter:
Pay Rate: $25.00 / hour.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Days (6:00am - 2:30pm) OR Swing Shift (1:00pm - 9:00pm).
Location: Cowlitz County layout.
Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Band Saw Cutter:
Prior verifiable experience working as a metal saw operator or industrial band sawyer required.
Proven ability to take layout measurements accurately down to the 16th of an inch.
Sound industrial math skills with complete comfort adding and subtracting fractions.
Prior forklift operator experience inside an active warehouse or shop environment.
Exceptional history of daily attendance, reliability, and strict professional integrity.
