The N.C. Office of the Commissioner of Banks (NCCOB) is responsible for the chartering and regulation of North Carolina's state banks, trust companies, mortgage companies, as well as registration and licensing of various financial institutions operating in North Carolina. Our mission is to promote and maintain the strength and fairness of the North Carolina financial services marketplace through the supervision and regulation of financial service providers in that marketplace.
Description of Work
This posting is for mid-level Financial Examiners in our Banking Division. Position identifies, compiles, and organizes relevant data (financial or non-financial) to analyze and draw sound logical conclusions for work assignments or examinations of financial institutions with minimal-to moderate-risk profiles and/or structures.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

In addition to the above knowledge, skills, and abilities, candidate must possess a bachelor degree in a related field (banking, finance, business) and minimum of two courses of accounting AND at least two (2) years of RECENT professional experience in the banking industry, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
