Bank IT System Analyst

Our well-established client is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join their growing team near Glens Falls, NY.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include:*Work with the applicable business unit to identify, recommend and implement areas of improvement for automated workflow and procedures
*Report project and status updates to management
*Work with vendors on performance issues, support tickets, enhancements and upcoming releases
*Review and analyze existing technology to determine needs and make suggestions where needed
*Identify training opportunities within business units to ensure proficient use of systems
*Evaluate and ensure systems utilization is as designed
*Other duties as assigned


Qualifications of the Business Analyst:
*Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience, or extended work experience in lieu of education
*Experience in banking or financial institutions required
*Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
*Working knowledge of banking functions/business units
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Highly organized and self-motivated individual
*Detail oriented and deadline driven
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $62,500 - $85,000.
